Privacy policy
RedditReplyGen generates editable Reddit comment and post-field drafts only after a user requests them. It never posts, comments, votes, follows, messages, or creates accounts on the user's behalf.
Data the extension handles
When you focus a Reddit editor, the extension may read the visible subreddit name, post title, post body, reply target, community rule titles, moderator guidance, page URL, and up to three public post-image URLs. It also handles your own brief, language and voice preferences, optional product context, and generated draft text. When you explicitly request Localize, it also handles only the text already typed in the active editor and the selected target language.
Data it does not read
The extension does not read Reddit passwords, authentication cookies, private messages, private or quarantined communities, saved posts, voting history, account-creation data, or unrelated browsing history.
Local storage
Free-edition model settings, local promotion-readiness counters, and the latest 10 generated drafts are stored in chrome.storage.local. Pro can display up to 50 local drafts and mark favorites. Draft history stores the generated text and a short context label, but not the source thread text. You can clear it at any time. Readiness counters are not Reddit karma, account age, moderator approval, or a guarantee against enforcement.
Model requests
Free BYOK sends requested thread context or user-entered translation source text directly to the HTTPS OpenAI-compatible service you configure. During the new-user hosted trial or Pro service, the extension sends only the inputs needed for the requested reply or translation to the RedditReplyGen website backend, which calls a dedicated server-only model gateway token. Hosted translation returns one candidate, ignores Pro-only fields, and counts only after a valid result. Gateway keys, internal addresses, and management credentials are never sent to the browser.
Account and billing
Account connection stores your email, display name, signed extension token, entitlement status, the trial ledger needed to enforce the 24-hour and 20-success limits, and your public promotion-ready product profiles. The same profile catalog can be returned to XReplyGen, RedditReplyGen, and BinanceReplyGen after account verification and is cached locally after refresh. Email verification is required. Checkout may be handled by Waffo Pancake or another provider identified before purchase. When Waffo Pancake is shown as merchant of record, it processes payment, tax, receipt, refund, fraud-prevention, and dispute information under its own privacy terms. RedditReplyGen stores only the account link, provider and billing lifecycle fields needed to deliver and reconcile access; the extension never stores a full card number or card security code.
Safety behavior
No AI rules stop generation. Promotion stays blocked when rules are missing or restrictive. The extension does not provide ban-evasion, vote manipulation, mass engagement, unsolicited messaging, account farming, or impersonation features.
Retention and deletion
Local settings remain until you clear extension data or uninstall. Trial, entitlement, public product-profile, support, security, and signed payment-event records are retained only as needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations, and resolve refunds or disputes; they are then deleted, anonymized, or archived where law requires continued retention. RedditReplyGen does not store Free BYOK keys or maintain a permanent archive of thread content.
Data rights and children
Where applicable law provides these rights, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection at [email protected]. Some transaction and security records may need to remain after account closure for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute purposes. Paid and account features are not intended for children under 13.
