Independent Chrome extension · manual drafts only

Respect the room before replying.

RedditReplyGen checks visible community rules, follows the thread language, and drafts a useful comment or post for you to review. It refuses No AI communities and never posts on your behalf.

No auto-posting · no voting · no mass DMs · no account farming

Start with the question, add one concrete step, and leave the product out.

This sample demonstrates the local policy engine. The extension checks the community you are actually viewing.

A drafting flow with brakes.

The safety layer is part of the core feature, not a paid add-on.

1

Read the thread and its rules

The extension collects the current title, visible body, reply target, subreddit name, and visible rule titles. If it sees No AI, generation stops.

English thread, English draft. Chinese thread, Chinese draft. Ten drafting languages are supported, with a manual override when the conversation calls for it.

One practical change would be to separate onboarding friction from retention. Which step loses the most users today?

Questions before you install.

Short answers, including the uncomfortable ones.

Can this guarantee my Reddit account will not be banned?

No. Reddit and each community make their own decisions. The extension reduces obvious policy risk, but behavior, history, relevance, and moderator judgment still determine the outcome.

Does it auto-post or schedule comments?

No. It only inserts a draft into the active editor. You review and manually submit it. There is no voting, messaging, account creation, or bulk interaction automation.

What happens when a subreddit bans AI?

If a visible community rule says No AI or equivalent, RedditReplyGen blocks generation for that community. It does not suggest a workaround.

What does transparent light promotion mean?

A relevant, value-first answer that explicitly states your relationship to the product. It is not disguised advertising. Product links remain blocked when a community restricts them.

Where is my API key stored?

Free-edition API settings stay in Chrome local extension storage and are sent only to the HTTPS model endpoint you configure.
